The concept is based on equipment optimization by taking into account the effective needs of the buildings.

WIRECOM Technologies has developed a simple Building Management System which communicates through the existing electrical network (PLC).
In order to optimize energy savings and comfort of the occupants, the following factors are taken into account:

• Wastage: unnecessary usage of consumer appliances, equipment in sleep mode, neglect, over consumption;
• External/ internal environment: physical measurements (temperature, hygrometry, luminosity, etc.), climate, number of occupants, hours of frequentation, interaction of other equipment;
• Economic factors: peak/slack periods, "jaune" tariff/"vert" tariff, availability, sources of energy.
