Finally, representatives of the Board reflect, with their activities, the objectives of the cluster S2E2, ie optimize the electrical energy from its source to its use, through storage, conversion and distribution", comments Thierry ALLARD, founder and President of WIRECOM Technologies, leader in the control of energy demand of buildings with PLC.
WIRECOM Technologies is an active member of several competitiveness clusters which enables it to lay out R&D programs and share them with partners: SME/SMB, big international groups and reputed laboratories.
S2E2 Sciences and Systems of Electrical Energy (Centre): its goal is to create a network of national and international references, which gathers companies and research bodies and training establishments, in the fields of electrical energy et energy efficiency with a goal to optimise electrical energy from its production to its final use. Its projects are aimed at developing, producing and commercialising economically viable products or systems, while incorporating actual leaps in technology, which respect the environment and cater to international markets.

With the initiative of the S2E2 cluster, WIRECOM Technologies actively participates in the research program of SéSAME (Electrical Sciences and Applied Systems in Energy Management) whose objective is to organise its members on a federal basis around an intelligent system of decentralised housing and building management. It constitutes 5 sub-projects targeted at raising the challenge of energy efficiency and guaranteeing the comfort, the safety and the health of individuals: GEDELOC, CARENE, CAPI, ISIS and CAPTHOM.
Capenergies (PACA): Capenergies focuses on energies of the future, non generating greenhouse gases. It consists of all the energies which will be part of the energy mix of the future, that can address the needs and preserve the environment and the climate.
DERBI Development of Renewable Energies in Building and Industry (Languedoc-Roussillon): its activity consists in accelerating the development of innovative technologies in the sector of renewable energies.
The CRESITT: WIRECOM Technologies collaborates closely with the CRESITT, regional association bringing together companies, laboratories and training centres of the Région Centre in the field of digital and analogue electronics. Besides support of a technical nature and in equipment, this collaboration is an asset for the company which receives technological resources necessary to accomplish projects that it undertakes (advice, follow-up, tools, monitoring, etc.).
''Signals and Images for Systems"of l’INSTITUT PRISME
Within the framework of the SéSAME project initiated by S2E2, WIRECOM Technologies has been collaborating since 2005 with research laboratories and training establishments. This approach translates its desire to develop and adapt to technological evolutions.
PRISME Institute is a research laboratory of the University of Orléans. The team “Signalling and Images for Systems” of this laboratory is made of 25 professors-researchers (of which 3 are professors of universities), 22 PhD holders and 13 other professionals specialised in the field of fundamental and technological research. The skills that are developed are linked to the processing of signals and images.
The laboratory that gets the support of the Government, the Région, of local groups and companies, enlists two Ph.D holders in the research work of WIRECOM Technologies. The technology is tackled with a new approach, and gives a new perspective to the projects of the company. This is a way of maintaining an open mind towards future technologies and an exceptionally advanced outlook as regards innovation!
