Transportation

In the very heart of Val de Loire, Orleans enjoys a favourable position, at the crossroad of the major trunk roads.

The SNCF ensures 40 daily connections with Paris (55 min.), and is developing its regional network TER, in order to facilitate travel in the Région Centre.

The Tram has 18 km of lines with 24 stations to link the Fleury-les-Aubrais station (North of Orléans) to Orleans-La Source (South) by passing through the town center. A 2nd east-west link is CLEO, 11.8 kms long, from the Chapelle Saint-Mesmin to Saint-Jean de Braye, which will be in service in 2011.
